Cruise along Costa Rica’s rich and beautiful coastline near Manuel Antonio (one of the most gorgeous areas in the country), and enjoy being out in the salty air for the day with a full bar, savory fruit snacks, and a midday lunch (both non-alcoholic cocktails and drinks along with adult cocktails are served throughout).
Stop to relax on the beach and snorkel in the stunning, veiled cove of Playa Beizan. The cream-colored sand of this hidden gem gives way to tropical brush and rocky outcroppings where hermit crabs scurry about. There are no stores or shops here. Beizan is an untouched paradise that seems to come straight out of a postcard. For snorkeling, you’ll find the warm and calm. Visibility is usually excellent with tons of tropical fish in the clear-blue water to swim with.
Dolphin and Whale Watching
The area surrounding Quepos and Manuel Antonio is renowned for its abundance of marine mammals. Whales and dolphins are frequently spotted along the shores. As you travel up and down the coast, your Captain will pilot the ship to areas where dolphins and whales are known to frequent, giving you an excellent chance to get up close with some bottlenose, spinner, or spotted dolphins! When whales are in season (Sep.- Apr.), you will likely see spectacular humpback whales and their calves breaching water.
After a wonderful day of cruising, snorkeling, and watching dolphins swim, enjoy the sunset at sea before heading back to the Pez Vela Marina in Quepos.
